WAAMH's Submission to Disability Royal Commission

IPS WORKS and WAAMH recently submitted feedback for the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability Employment Issues Paper. Individual Placement and Support has consistently proven to be effective in achieving outcomes for individuals with a disability. National IPS Trial

The Department of Social Services is funding the Individual Placement and Support Trial as part of the Australian Government’s Youth Employment Strategy to improve the educational and employment outcomes of young people with mental illness aged up to 25. Trials are being held at more than 20 selected headspace sites around Australia, with technical support implementing the IPS model provided by us here at IPS WORKS.
