As the Executive Manager of Programs, Michael Jones brings a professional and innovative edge to the IPS WORKS team. Michael has a strong background in human resources, leadership development and change management. With substantial experience in the university and health sectors, Michael uses his "know how" to lead and inspire an enthusiastic team.
As the IPS Technical Lead for IPS WORKS, Philleen Dickson is both passionate and committed to recovery orientated practice and bringing evidence-based supported employment to life. In previous roles Philleen worked in the mental health sector as a consultant, advocate and trainer. She spent several years with a reputable national NGO provider in New Zealand before dedicating her main area of expertise to implementing Individual Placement and Support in WA and across Australia.
Philleen has been a high performing IPS employment specialist and supervisor having formally trained at Massey University as a social policy graduate. She is one of just a few IPS professionals in Australia having trained under the auspices of the Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Centre in evidence-based supported employment, fidelity and IPS leadership.
Cassie has more than seven years’ experience as an employment consultant and has previously been employed as a Disability Employment Consultant, and a Business Manager and an IPS Employment Specialist with MAX Employment. Cassie is part of the IPS WORKS team as an IPS Support and Evaluation officer, and responsible for providing technical support and assistance to sites involved in the headspace IPS Youth trial; and helping fee-for-service and partnerships to implement evidence-based employment services into their organisations. Cassie also completes fidelity reviews and assists sites to create action plans from reviews to ultimately increase employment opportunities for individuals in the community experiencing mental health. She holds qualifications in Cert III, IV and Diploma of Community Services, a Diploma of Children’s Services and a Bachelor of Social Science.
Roshani currently works in the IPS WORKS team providing technical support and mentoring to the organisations/vocational/employment specialist implementing IPS. She was formerly a Disability Employment Specialist candidate manager and an IPS employment specialist co-located with Mental Health Services. Her professional background includes around five years in the mental health sector including roles with the Telecross program and work as a lifestyle and social educator for people with intellectual and physical disability. Roshani holds a Diploma in Community Services, a Bachelor of Applied Social Science, and a Certificate IV in Mental Health.
